10-Team Intercontinental play-offs: Gabriel Zabo Replaces Ngueuleu With Ewodo

Due to the unavailability of PSG forward Nina Ngueuleu, Indomitable Lionesses head coach Gabriel Zabo has decided to call-up Ewodo Ekogo Gwladys currently with parent club Cska Moscow, to compete the 10-team Intercontinental play-offs in Auckland.

The Indomitable Lionesses have been preparing for the 2023 World Cup play-offs in Auckland, New Zealand since February 1.

Among the 25 players summoned by Gabriel Zabo, Ngueuleu could not answer the call.

No official reasons have been advanced for her absence but it directly benefits Tatiana.

Zsbo’s call came as a gift for the 26-year-old erstwhile Louves Minproff forward who won bronze medal with team Cameroon in the All African Games in 2015.

As a reminder, the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023 play-off tournament is scheduled for February 18-23.
