U17 Lionesses touch down Egyptian territory ahead of World Cup qualifiers game

This Friday morning, the Cameroon U17 women’s national team arrived Cairo, marking the start of her adventure in the qualifiers for the U17 Women’s World Cup, scheduled this 2025 in Morocco.

It is from the Yaoundé-Nsimalen International Airport that the U17 Lionesses took to the sky, ready to face Egypt on Sunday in the first leg of the first round.

Under the leadership of the technical staff, the Junior Lionesses are determined to start this qualifying campaign in good fashion.

The team, made up of promising young talents, recently completed its final prep camp in Yaoundé. According to sources close to the group, the training sessions helped strengthen the defensive organization and refine the offensive aspects – considered essential to face an Egyptian team known to be solid at home.

Under the leadership of the technical staff, the ladies  say they are determined to start this qualifying campaign well.

The objectives for the ladies of Joseph Bryan Ndoko is clear, to secure a ticket for the final phase in Morocco and to represent Cameroon with dignity on the world stage.

The return match is scheduled for next week in Yaounde.
