2021 AFCON: Senegal Unveils Provisional Squad

The head coach of Senegalese National Team, Aliou Cissé has published a list of pre-selected players to represent the country in upcoming AFCON which kicks off in less than 20days in Cameroon.
According to online football sources, the ace Teranga Lion made two local additions on the list dominated by European based players.
Goalkeeper Alouine Badara Faty of Casa Sport and Teungueth FC defender, Moutarou Barry will tussle against experience for possible international debut.
Cissé’s list features familiar names fielded in last edition 1-0 defeat to Algeria in Egypt.
Kalidou Koulibaly of SSC Napoli in defense alongside Chiekou Kouyaté, PSG’s Idrissa Gana Gueye among midfieders, super star Sadio Mané, Ismaila Sarr all of the English Premier league and a host of others.
A final list of 28 is expected to be published on Dec 24 as the team prepares to Camp in Rwanda before jetting to Cameroon.
Considered wounded for too long Aliou Cissé and his men will be bent on tasting glory next month after being eliminated at the quatar finals in Gabon 2017 and last time at the finals.
Senegal will take on Zimbabwe on Monday January 10 2022 at the Kouekong Stadium in Bafoussam before and subsequently Guinea and Malawi.
