2022 World Cup: Aboubakar, Epassy & Tawamba Join Camp Ahead Of Jamaica Clash

Three Indomitable Lions who play in Saudi Arabia entered camp alongside 26 local players called up by coach Rigobert Song, to prepare for the test match against Jamaica, which will act as a perfect World Cup rehearsal.

The Saudi championship has been on hold since October 16 and will not resume until December 15. The majority of Saudi professionals play in their local championship, and the Saudi Football Federation opted to halt the championship, so as to start her world cup camp early.

The country wants to go as far as possible. It is for that reason that on Thursday afternoon at the Ngoa Ekelle stadium, Vincent Aboubakar and Devis Epassy joined Leandre Tawamba, already present in camp on Wednesday, Nov. 2.

The Saudi click were present for the second training session of the indomitable lions of Cameroon, in preparations for the international friendly match against Jamaica, penciled for November 9th.

The trio have been rehearsing through several intense sequences of play. For Fai Collins, the full-back has opted to stay in Saudi and continue his preparations.

Cameroon pits Jamaica on November 9 in Yaounde, before traveling to face Panama on the 18th of this Month in Abu Dhabi.
