2023 Women’s Cup: Authentic to battle it out against Louves In Final

Louves Minproff are into the final of the Cameroon women’s cup and they will face worthy opponents, Authentic FF of Douala on Tuesday, March 2023.

Both teams trailblazed through to the final after very potent results against tricky opponents in the semi finals.

Louves Minproff marginally defeated AS Fortuna 2-1 at the Ngoa Ekelle stadium on Friday. Goals from Ghislaine Larissa (39 minutes) and Pauline Ndong at the 78th minute meant Claudia Foe’s 90th minute goal was nothing but a consolation for Fortuna.

In the second semi still at the Ngoa Ekelle stadium, newbies’ Authentic took on Ngadeu FFA as both ‘freshmen’ were after a first Women’s Cup final berth.

Authentic had the last laugh in the game courtesy Solange Larkingam’s lone goal at the 79th minute.

For the first time in a cup final, Authentic will take on Louves Minproff on Tuesday. The women’s cup is a new silverware that was brought into the context of women’s football by sponsors Guinness last season.
