2024 UNIFFAC: Arrey Jefter included in Yvan Kenmoe’s Final list
After an amazing 7 days in camp, the U20 Lions technical bench have compensated midfielder, Arrey Jefter with a place amongst the final list of 21 players for UNIFFAC 2024.
The midfield creator in chief impressed with limited time and forced his way into the team, after he was initially left on the waiting list.
ISOHSA’s number 13 and teammates will leave Cameroon for Congo this Sunday, September 22.
Jeffer scored 6 goals for ISOHSA last season as the club’s fortunes changed from title contenders to fighting against relegation.
Formerly an U17 international, Arrey Jefter played his part en route to the cup of Cameroon semis where ISOHSA lost to Colombe.
In the last UNIFFAC tourney – Cameroon failed to catch the eye, and even missed out on a TotalEnergies U20 AFCON ticket.
Under same coach (Yvan Kenmoe) but with some assistance from former indomitable Lions star-man Ndefi Pius, the Junior Lions are hoping there is a twist of fate when they touch down on Congolese soil this time.
Cameroon are placed in group B alongside last edition’s finalists, the Central African Republic and Gabon. The UNIFFAC competition commences early next week.
