2025 AFCON qualifiers: Marc Brys names 33-man shortlist for Kenya, Namibia games
Indomitable Lions gaffer, Marc Brys has made slim but significant changes with 33 names listed to play two AFCON qualifying games this October.
The 62-year-old Belgian technician chose “Fou Fou Foot” a Crtv sports show to communicate his list of 33.
Six players have been pre-selected for the first time, including Inter Milan’s Bisseck and Dina Ebimbe of Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will face Kenya on October 11 at the Japoma complex. This is on the occasion of the 3rd round of the AFCON 2025 group J qualifiers.
One of the major absences from this extended list is Jean-Charles Castelletto. The defender was Injured during the Lions’ last training camp, but has since then resumed with FC Nantes.
Marc Brys has however kept the skeleton of his team, buoyant with the return of in-form Moumi Ngamaleu
On Marc Brys’ extended list, several players will be unavailable due to injury. The final list will be announced in the coming days for the start of the training camp.
