Ajoh Austin: Potential U23 – Lions Forward Signs For Konkola Blades

Zambia premier division side – Konkola Blades have inked with Cameroon prodigy, Ajoh Austin.

The young marskman is an erstwhile Elite One player for Cameroon Elite One outfit Djiko FC, and legendary, 2002 Cameroon Cup winners, Mt. Cameroon FC.

The latter penned two seasons for an undisclosed fee, and could be thrown right into the mix this weekend when Konkola face Indeni FC on Sunday Oct. 24.

For starters, Ajoh Austin is a target forward whose versatility permits him to interchange between a centre-forward and a second striker, as he is tall and physically strong, and adept at heading the ball. He wins high balls in the air, holds up the ball, and creates chances for other teammates.

Known for his skill _ set and God given ability, Ajoh was nicknamed Higuain in his native Cameroon, due to his predatory instincts.

Ajoh is one on the books of top coaches in Cameroon. The teenage sensation looks set to catch the eye and impress U-23 Lions manager, Rigobert Song, with an immediate impact at Konkola.

Konkola Blades are placed 8th of 18 in the Zambia Super League, having picked up 9 points in 7 games. With 5 goals in 7 games, Ajoh seems to me the man to turn the fortunes of Konkola in front of goal.
