30 LOCAL PLAYERS SUMMONED FOR Chipolopolo CAMP

The Zambia’s Men’s National Team, also known as the Chipolopolo, is gearing up for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco next month.
Head coach Moses Sichone has summoned 30 local players of the 55 AFCON provisional squad to join the team in camp this weekend, marking the beginning of their preparations for the tournament.
The team will undergo a local camp before heading out for a pre-tournament international camp, where they’ll play friendly matches to fine-tune their skills.
The team going in camp this weekend are; Goalkeepers
Mangani Banda (Kabwe Warriors), Lawrence Mulenga (Power Dynamos), Charles Kalumba, Christo Chitambala (Red Arrows), and Francis Mwansa (Zanaco).
Defenders
Jonathan Kalimina (Kafue Celtic), Headson Paina, Kapambwe Musonda (Green Eagles), Mathews Banda (Nkana), Owen Mwamba (Mufulira Wanderers), Dominic Chanda (Power Dynamos), Kabaso Chongo, Gift Mphande (Zesco United), Chanda Chileshe (FC Muza), and Happy Nsiku (Red Arrows).
Midfielders
Humphrey Bwembya (Kabwe Warriors), Rickson Ng’ambi, Given Kalusa, Kelvin Mwanza (FC Muza), Owen Tembo, Frederick Mulambia (Power Dynamos), Tinklar Sinkala, Wilson Chisala (Zanaco), David Simukonda, Pascal Phiri, Abraham Siankombo (Zesco United), and Kelvin Chipelu (Forest Rangers).
