The Cameroonian senior men’s national team has recently had mixed results. The last rally showed that the team is truly rebuilding after the unavailability of several team executives.

“He has decided to retire from international football. If psychologically he is not ready, he will not come back. As the coach said the doors are open to him. We know the asset he can be for the national team,” said Zambo Anguissa.

The Napoli midfeild metronome also spoke about his role as a leader in the selection.

He promised to do his best to succeed in matching the Indomitable Lions group to success.

“As of today, I am one of the oldest in the team with Nicolas Nkoulou, Vincent Aboubakar and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

“It’s almost a new generation with a lot of young people and especially bi-nationals. We try to do our best to make them feel at ease,” said Zambo Anguissa.
