South Korea Completes Double Over Zambia In Friendlies

Lee Geum-min scored a hat-trick while Park Eun-sun netted a brace as Korea Republic defeated Zambia 5-0 in an international women’s friendly on Tuesday.

After an even opening 30 minutes, Korea Republic took the lead through Lee who converted from the penalty spot in the 33rd minute.

Park doubled Korea Republic’s advantage just two minutes later as Zambia were left with a mountain to climb heading into the break.

There was to be no comeback for Zambia as Lee scored her second in the 53rd minute and completed her hat-trick in the 77th with another penalty.

Park ended the proceedings with her second in the 89th minute as Korea Republic concluded this phase of their preparations for the FIFA Women’s World Cup on a high note. South Korea won the first leg of the friendly via a 5-2 margin.
