David Pagou Includes Kedrido in PWD’s Squad For First Time In 3 Games
PWD trainer David Pagou has included Cameroon international goalie Haschou Kerrido for the first time in PWD’s match day squad, after three matches.
The gaffer has recently played default back – up goalkeeper Francois Eya in the team’s last 3 Cameroon Cup games.
Pundits are however tipping goalkeeper Haschou Kerrido, 27, to reclaim his role as first choice when the Abakwa Boys welcome Yaounde Foot on Wednesday 7.
Out of 11 games played for the Elite One holders – in the first round, Kerrido kept 6 clean sheets, conceding just 6 goals in the process.
On September 11 2020, PWD officialized the signing of Kerrido from
Guinean outfit, Club industriel Kamsar for a period of one year.
Since then, as always, Kerrido has been ranked heavyweight on the books of different national team categories. The latter was first choice ahead of Dande Junior, Epane Letizi and Narcisse Nlend, in Cameroon’s fourth – placed finish, in the African Nations Championship.
Haschou Kerrido was in Cameroon’s squad in the better half of their AFCON qualifiers.
