A blend of diplomacy and harmony hit exclamation point at the just ended UPF World summit

The 2025 World Summit of the Universal Peace Federation marked a historic milestone with the inauguration of the Cheon Won Gung Museum in Gapyeong, South Korea, celebrating the 65th anniversary of the Holy Matrimony of Reverend Sun Myung Moon and his wife, Dr. Hak Ja Han, founders of the movement.
From April 10 to 13, a series of events punctuated this celebration, blending spirituality, diplomacy, and commitment to world peace.
The highlight was the entrance ceremony into the Cheonil holy ground, the museum’s centerpiece, symbolizing the connection between heaven and humanity.

Designed as a center for peace education, the museum spans over 96,000 square meters, with galleries, cultural spaces, and a multipurpose hall. It aims to become a new global benchmark for peace initiatives, faithful to the ideology of “one family under God.”
Among the highlights was the 6th Sunhak Peace Prize ceremony, which honored figures such as Wanjira Mathai, Hugh Evans, and Patrick Awuah for their contributions to sustainable development, social justice, and education.
Former African leaders, such as Goodluck Jonathan (Nigeria), were also recognized for their work in promoting peace.
Another highlight was the Hyojeong 2025 Cosmic Blessing Ceremony, which brought together 5,000 couples from 90 countries in a symbolic effort to defend family values in the face of the demographic crisis.
The launch of the International Conference of Parliamentary Speakers (ICP), bringing together leaders from 36 nations, gave the event a succinct political dimension. Together, they called for a new world order based on peace, cooperation, and multilateralism.
With this inauguration, the UPF confirms its influence on a global scale and its desire to unite efforts for harmonious coexistence between people.
