AWVC: Lionesses Rock Tunisia, Keep Dreams Of Retaining Title Alive

The Volleyball Lionesses recorded a second victory at the African Nations Women’s Volleyball Championship in Rwanda, against Tunisia without dropping a set in their second turn – out in the tournament finals.

It all happened in the earlier hours of the morning as the Lionesses won without dropping a set 3 sets to 0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-17).

It is all together two matches and consecutive victories for the two – time African champions who top in Group B.

The next game for the Volleyballolleyball Lionesses is against Burundi. The game will be of utmost importance for coach Jean Rene Akono and his side as a smooth run to the quarter finals awaits if they defeat Burundi.

A successful tournament will mean the third winners medal for the volleyball Lionesses in the tourney, and their third successful title.
