Nlend Samuel Converts From The Spot As Kings Peep Gallants

In his first official game for Equatoguinean side Futuro Kings at the CAF Confederation Cup prelims. former Intermediate Lions captain Samuel Nlend scored from the spot and helped his his to a 2-1 home win against Marumo Gallants.

The erstwhile USD star man who had already bagged some goals in the pre season converted a 3rd minute penalty.

Gallants however found themselves level at the 13 minute via a goal from SA central midfeilder Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo.

Futuro Kings lashed back and restored their lead earlier on in the second segment (54th minute) through 28 year old, Spanish Equatoguinean midfeilder, Niko Kata.

It ended 2-1 at the Estadio Mongomo and the kings will just have to avoid defeat away in SA to sail through to the next round of the competition.
