Nchout Ajara Is Back Amongst The Goals!

In action on Saturday against AS Roma in the Italian women’s championship, Njoya Ajara offered victory to her new club – Internationale, on match day 6 of the championship.

It was Ajara’s second appearance as a substitute as the first had to come in Inter’s loss against Sampdoria.

It was indeed a second time lucky for Ajara coming off from the sidelines against Roma this time.
The 2019 CAF women’s player of the year runner – up scored the only goal that allowed her club to pinch all three points.

Ajara sat it out for 58 minutes before replacing Tatiana Bonetti. With 5 minutes to the end of the match, Ajara scored her first goal in Inter colours – since joining in from Atleti.
After 6 days of the championship, Inter Women have 10 points and occupy 4th place.

The women’s Serie A is dominated by the leading duo of Sampdoria/ Juventus with 18 points. The next opponent for Ajara and co is Juve who have not yet lost in the league this season.
