The President of the Confederation of African football CAF, Dr. Patrice Tholpane Motsepe has once again revealed Cameroon as being the perfect fit to host the continent’s biggest football jamboree in January.

Declaring the 13th Extraordinary General Assembly of CAF today in Egypt, the South African backed the Central African Nation’s efforts to put forth a great showpiece from January 09, 2020.

“…Cameroon is 95% ready..”, the CAF boss said.

Motsepe equally recounted the existing ambiance in Cameroon as the build for January 09 draws closer.

“The passion I saw in Cameroon about the AFCON, i have never seen it before . I am confident that we are going to have a wonderful AFCON in Cameroon in January”, Motsepe continued.

The declarations made in Cairo today sets some Media reports into garbage cans, of Cameroon not being capable to meet the November 30 deadline for delivery of the Olembe Stadium which will host the competition’s opener, pitting Cameroon Vs Burkina Faso.

Finishing touches at the Olembe Stadium

Latest images at the Olembe site show the completion of the pitch side track, installation of two led screens and the giant pangolins nearing completion.

Cameroon is plan A, Cameroon is plan B and Cameroon remains plan C.
