Cameroon’s Football Calendar For 2022 Unveiled

After the false start of the Championships slated for February 21, the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) communicated new dates for the various competitions it will organize this year.

After the refusal of General Pierre Semengue to chair the Transitional Committee responsible for organizing the professional championships, and the missed start of February 21, FECAFOOT announced a new start date for the 2021-2022 season.

According to the calendar published by the Federation, the new start of the Elite One is penciled for March 12.

The championship which will constitute of 25 clubs divided into two pools of 13 and 13 clubs is scheduled to end on July 17, 2022.

The body headed by Samuel Eto’o will have just enough time to appoint Cameroon’s representatives in the next African competitions.
