CAF CL: Sweet Revenge For Setif With 2-0 Win Over Amazulu

ES Setif got their revenge over Amazulu on match day 4 group B in the CAF champions league, with a 2-0 victory over the South African reps.

Riad Benayad smacked in the opener for the home side at the 11th minute of play, and Akram Djahnit, scored at the 45+1 minute to gift Setif all 3 points.

It was always going to be difficult on the road for Benni McCarthy’s side, that has made the Moses Mabhida stadium a fortress, but struggle on the road.

All of Amazul’s 6 points thus far have come from home victories against Setif and Horoya. They return home to face Raja on March 18, in what will be an absolute cracker.

The group is still delicately poised as Setif and Amazulu are tied on 6 points each, while Raja, who themselves are from a defeat against Horoya, has 9 points.
