Algeria vs Cameroon: Vincent Aboubakar Cleared For Reversed Fixture

A day before the reversed fixture of the 2022 World Cup play-offs, sportsglitz.net has confirmed that the Lions’ sick bed is empty, despite fears of Vincent Aboubakar – missing out, due to an ankle sprain.

There was an air of panic within Cameroon’s selection as the crucial second round of qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup approached, due to Aboubakar’s health condition.

The latter was forced to make way for Leandre Tawamba at half-time following a brutal and sudden pain on his ankle on March 25. From then on, panic seized Cameroonian supporters.

In a post-match press conference, coach Rigobert Song stated: “Vincent Aboubakar had an ankle pain at half-time. But it matters for little. We didn’t want to take any risks because the second leg will be very important.” The gaffer ended.

Aboubakar himself admitted at the zone mixz that he felt serious pains and asked to be substituted.

Sportsglitz can now confirm that the Al Nassr striker who has scored 33 goals in 82 caps will be available for selection on Tuesday 29.
