The then, and now

EX Cameroon Under-20 international back in 2009, Brice Owona Nga, was on the score sheet for YAFOOT, same with Marc Atangana, as YAFOOT won their first league game via a 2-1 margin against Dragon. Marc Atangana was part of Ousmanou Christoph’s team that represented Cameroon in the 2021 U20 AFCON in Mauritania. #onegenerationtotheother

Bamboutos’ second highest goal scorer last term, Pierre Boyomo – opened his account for Fauve Azure with the only brace of match day 3 in their 4-3 win over Djiko FC.

Father – Son connection

The Apple didn’t fall far from the tree. Sent in by his Dad Bonaventure Djounkep in the second half against UMS, Harisson Djounkep scored in the second in Eding’s 2-1 win over UMS.

Having sat out the whole of last season, Jean Emmanuel Chamdjou scored against his former club UMS, and his wild celebration was one of several reasons why Mr. Pierre Kouemo left the Centenary field early.

Enow Adolf Nkembe scored his second league goal against his former side Apejes, as Fortuna won 1-0.

Fauve Azure against Djiko FC brought forth the most goals tally from a single match since the start of the season. The game ended 4-3 in favor of Fauve Azure.

PWD – Avion was the only zero-all tie on match day 3 that saw 29 goals scored.

Cotonsport are still searching for a league win after two outings. The Cotonites were pulled back after Kana Boris’ goal for Renaissance, cancelling out Daouda Kamilou’s 10th minute strike.

After stints at Manemen Sport Club and Apejes, Leonel Ntebeu scored his first official goal on his return to Fovu, in their 1-1 draw against New Stars.

11 players are on two goals;

Bemol Apam (Apejes), Brice Simdjo (Stade Renard), Christian Fack (Apejes), Abdel Salam Mefira (Eding Sports)

Enow Nkembe (AS Fortuna)
