CAF CL: Wydad BOSS Group D On Final Day

Wydad Athletic club ended as group D winners on Saturday after defeating second-placed Petro de Luanda 5-1, on match day 6 of the CAF champions league.

In a full house at the Mohamed 5 stadium, all what Wydad Athletic club needed was a draw to maintain top spot in group D.

The Moroccan giants, however, did more than needed, as they hit Petro of Luanda of Angola, for five.

Wydad put 4 past goalkeeper Wellington without reply, coutesy goals from; Tsoumou, Dari, Moutaraji and El Hassouni.

Petro pulled one back through Pinto at the 63rd minute, but Ellafi shot the lights with one more for Wydad at the 73rd minute.

Coach Ragragui and his players therefore end in group D with 15 points after 6 match days. Petro comes second with 11 points.
