Inna Ngassa & Djoufack Plan To Beat Coton In Bafoussam

Days after failing to win the holy grail against country juggernauts, Cotonsport of Garoua in the final of the Cameroon cup, Bamboutos coach – Inna Ngassa and skipper, Brandon Djoufack plan to serve the 17-time Elite One champions revenge, in the Cameroon Super Cup.

Despite not being the man at the helm when Bamboutos gulped down defeat against Cotonsport in the Cameroon cup, coach Inna Ngassa acknowledges that Cotonsport of Garoua left a bitter pill for the Mangwa Boys to swallow after the team’s defeat in the Cameroon cup final.

The erstwhile Avion Academy gaffer who served as an assistant at Union in the 2020 campaign under coach Richard Towa, remains upbeat and made his intentions known, pre match.

“The last meeting against Coton left us with a bitter taste due to the circumstances surrounding the outcome of the match. We come with the desire not to fall against the same opponent.” The tactician opined pre match.

Inna Ngassa was accompanied by the club’s skipper, Djoufack Brandon who equally belaboured the fact that lessons have been learnt, and the Mangwa Boys will be gunning for their first title in their over 6 illustrious decades of existence.

The technical staff of Bamboutos has completely been overhauled with Inna Ngassa coming in as head coach after coach Ndoumbe Bosso resigned from his duties and headed for UMS. Djokou Barnabas has equally been absorbed into the Bamboutos set-up as a physical trainer.
