CAF Women’s CL: AS FAR Leapfrog Newcomers Simba Queens

Morocco’s AS FAR defeated Simba Queens 1-0 in their opening CAF Women’s Champions League.

The Rabat-based team played with more purposeful attacks and were rewarded with a breakthrough when Ghizlane Chhiri assisted Jraidi to break the deadlock in the 67th minute, said CAF in its latest press release.

Morocco’s Ibitissam Jraidi was nominated Woman of the Match, following the game against Simba Queens.

The CAF Women’s Champions League held in Morocco runs until November 13, 2022
