Elite One: Yougouda, Calice Spear Gazelle To Victory Against Fovu

Gazelle FA are back to winning ways after a defeat to Union Sportif of Douala on match day 3 of the championship.

The term ‘newcomers’ could sound outdated and this side seems to make a mockery of that term the way they’re going about business in this championship.

Gazelle FA, last season’s Cameroon cup semifinalists defeated Fovu 2-0 at the Roumde Adjia Annex stadium on match day four, and for the goalscorers, well, you guessed right.

Yougouda Kada netted his third goal of the Championship at the 14th minute, while Calice D’or scored his second this season at the 80th minute to gift the team it’s second win, taking its point tally to 7 points in group B.

Gazelle obtained this victory without goalkeeper Marcelin Mbahbi, called up for national duty.
