Qatar 2022: Bryan Mbeumo Unbothered About Early Indomitable Lions Form

One of the star dusts sprinkled in Cameroon’s senior men’s selection at the verge of the World Cup, Bryan Mbeumo is yet to score after 3 games played.

The Brentford winger who is on Napoli’s radar has admitted that he is not majorly bothered by the lack of goals – as it will rain goals when the time comes.

“Of course it’s in the back of my mind (due to the fact thaf he is yet to bag a debut goal), editor’s pick. Then he added – ” I’m a striker and I want to be as efficient as possible but I don’t fix my game on it. The goal will come at the best possible time for me.”

Further quizzed on where he will like to play for the national team, the forward passed out a classic line of being an ‘all rounder’.

“I don’t necessarily have a preference. It’s true that with my club I play as one of two attackers but I can also play on either sides. I really like this position because I am free there. It’s up to me to give the best no matter where I am.”

At club-side Brentford, coach Thomas Frank plays Mbuemo and Englishman Ivan Tony as two players up top in a trademark 3-5-2 system which Mbuemo thrives in.

With the Indomitable Lions, Rigobert Song has used Mbuemo on the wings as one of the three players leading the attack in all three games he has played so far.

Fans of the Indomitable Lions are excited about the prospect of having Bryan Mbeumo who only recently switched national after talking with FECAFOOT president, Samuel Eto’o.

When the Lions step out against Switzerland on Nov. 24 – and it will be Mbuemo’s first competitive game for the Indomitable Lions.
