Francois Enyegue Scores Late To Grab A Point For Renaissance Against Avion

Ponts were shared in a 4-goal thriller pitting Renaissance FC against Avion Academy on Saturday Dec. 24 at the Olembe Annex A stadium.

It was a seesaw game that had both teams take the lead on different occasions, with the adversary always returning to pull parity.

Tchaha Nana put the home side ahead at the 28th minute of the ball game. Anicet Koung’s men conceded 5 minutes after they had taken the lead. Bogmo Neloh scored the equaliser at the 33rd minute.

It was Avion’s turn to take the lead. Six minutes after the hour mark, Avion’s Nganti got the men of David Ngambe ahead.

Avion was getting set for only their second win of the campaign but their work was cut short when Francois Enyegue scored in added time (90+2).

Avion are rock bottom in the 11-team group A with 6 points. Renaissance are two spots above them on the log with 8 points.
