YAFOOT Fails To Score For First Time In 7 Games In Parity Against Fovu

Fovu club of Baham succeeded to escape the clutch of Yaounde 2 unscathed on match day 9 of the MTN Elite One in group B.

Fovu club, on the back of a scintillating performance against Apejes, will have to wait for their next win in the division after stumbling on a rock solid YAFOOT.

YAFOOT did not score for the first time in 7 games, and that was down to the sheer brilliance of goalkeeper Patrick Hamadjam.

YAFOOT is the team most in group B are avoiding at the moment, and it was clearly visible against Fovu club, despite the goalless draw, why most sides will want to avoid the rejuvenated side.

Fovu missed out on the chance to further creep in at the top given points dropped by Gazelle and Fauve Azur. Same cannot be said for YAFOOT, who maintain a mid-table position (7th) with 11 points.

Up next for YAFOOT is a real brawl against struggling Dragon over the weekend, while Fovu pits a ‘wounded’ Fauve Azur next, on the back of a defeat to Union Sportif Douala.
