GSL: Canon Filles Declared General Forfeiture

Absent from the field since the start of the season, the general secretariat of the Cameroon Women’s Football League has announced the general withdrawal of Canon Filles from the Guinness Super League.

The Cameroon Women’s Football League has homologated the matches counting for the 4th day of the GUINNESS Super League. The General Secretariat announced the general forfeiture of Canon Girls of Yaoundé, in accordance with the texts and regulations of the competition. “A club declares or forfeits twice during the same season is considered general forfeiture with application of article 93 of the FECAFOOT disciplinary code”.

The capital club had not appeared against its opponents since the start of the season. It has therefore been declared general forfeiture and will no longer take part in the rest of the competition.

According to the regulations, the Canon Filles of Yaoundé should be relegated from two lower divisions.
