Ngo Mbeleck Leaves Greece For Fenerbahçe

Cameroonian midfielder Geneviève Ngo Mbeleck has signed up with Istanbul – based Turkish professional football club, Fenerbahçe for one-and-a-half season.

Mbeleck leaves the Israel where she formerly donned the colors of Maccabi Hadera after a stint with Kiryay Gat.

Aged 30, it is her fifth club abroad having played for FK Minsk, Sporting Huelva, Kiryat Gat and Maccabi Hadera.

After having played the 2015 and 2019 women’s world cups, Mbeleck and co will not be taking part in this year’s edition after they failed to get a qualifying ticket in the women’s AFCON in Morocco, and most recently, in the 10-team Intercontinental play-offs in Auckland.

After fifteen game days, Fenerbahçe are in 3rd place in Group B of the Women’s Football Super League.
