Abdoulaye Yahaya Heads To Hungary

Hungarian side Újpest has penned a 5 – year deal with Cameroon U20 International, Abdoulaye Yahaya this Wednesday.

The youngster who is versatile upfront but feels at home on the wings, has been training with the team for several weeks and has convinced the club’s staff with his work, as sportsglitz got from the club’s website.

Yahaya left Cameroon in October 2020, left for Újpest this summer, from the Croatian side NK Lokomotiva.

The 20-year-old who stands 170-centimeters tall, is a regular in the U20 national men’s selection in Cameroon and will immediately integrate the senior selection of Újpest “I came to a very professional club for try – outs. I am glad that the head coach decided to count on me for the first team.” Stated Yahaya via the club’s website.

Újpest are placed 10th in the 12 – team Hungary Championship with 14 points from 14 games played so far.
