Aboubakar, Njie, Ekambi; Cameroon’s 28 – Man List That Should Scare The Continent

5 – time African Champions and AFCON hosts Cameroon have unleashed a fierce group of players for the AFCON that will be taking place in their own backyard come January 9.

The roster is made up of 28 players, including some top names, well known on the African continent.

No major changes with the goalkeeping sector as three other goalies are set to accompany Inter – bound Andre Onana.

Vita’s Simon Omossola has always been in and around, whist Epassy, initially a first team regular, has kept his place in the team, with Efala Komguep of Akwa United.

One of the survivors of the 2017 AFCON winning group – Fai Collins of Standard Liege is one of two options on the right back position. His back – up is set to be Olivier Mbaizo, whom himself, is having a wonderful time with club – side Philadelphia Union.

Ngadeu Michael, Jean Charles Castelleto and Jerome Onguene are like – for – like center half’s, but the inclusion of an Injury hit Moukoudi Harold, does raise the eyebrows. Oyongo Bitolo has fully retuned from injury and the Montpelier man will look to engage with Nouhou Tolo for the owner of that left full – back. Like Collins Fai, Oyongo Bitolo is one of those who was present in that Lions team that won the AFCON in 2017 in Gabon.

Lots of Choices flood the midfeild. Napoli’s Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa headlines the choices in the middle of the park, but certainly Conceiçao is spoiled for choices in the center. AC Milan target Onana Jean is another who could make the difference on his day, just like Middleborough metronome – Lea Siliki.

It has been raining goals for the likes of Toko Ekambi at club level. The Lyon winger finished top scorer of the Europa league group stage, and just shook off an Injury worry, and he is set to get back to full gear.

Njie Clinton who was out of sight for a long period of time, equally makes his way to the attack line.
