Achilles Webo Bags Another Coaching Certificate

Three years after hanging up his cleats for good, Achille Webo has kept pursuing life as a coach after retirement.

After obtaining his coaching diplomas which enabled him to grab the position as assistant coach of Istanbul Basaksehir, the former Cameroon international has completed his training in management, marketing, communication and football management.

On Wednesday, Webo was awarded his UEFA Executive Master’s for International Players diploma. He received his certification from UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin. Among his mates in the course, they’re star players with prestigious careers such as Ricardo Kaka, Julio César, Didier Drogba, Émile Heskey and Andrey Archavin.

Webo becomes the third Cameroonian to obtain this precious certificate after Geremi Njitap and Patrick Mboma. Aurelien Chedjou, student of the 4th edition, should follow suit in few months.
