Adolphe Teikeu Rewarded With 2 Years, After Trail At Nîmes

Cameroonian international defender (22 caps) Adolphe Teikeu (31) has penned a two year deal after one week trial last week at Nîmes Olympique.

The latter who was free from all contract terms since July, has finally found a springboard at the French Ligue 2 side, where he can get his career back on track.

Alongside Ngadeu, the erstwhile Krasnodar center – half played an immense role underway to Cameroon’s fifth AFCON triumph, despite the fact that he was stretched – out in the final – due to Injury, in place of Nicolas Nkoulou.

Teikeu, a bandjoun native is not a new comer to the French Ligue 2. He has had two stints with FC Sochaux at that level (2015/16), and (2019/20).

Nîmes are 11th – placed in the 20 team Ligue 2 Championship, with 20 points from 16 games. 13 points separates them from Toulouse (1st) with more than half of the season, set to be played.
