AFCON 2021: Cameroon Manage Slender Win Over Deflated Comoros

Hosts Cameroon have marginally defeated debutants Comoros (2-1) at the Olembe Stadium, to advance to the last 8 of the competition.

The Comoros Island gave a good account of themselves despite being Covid struck, and reduced to 10 men in the first half of the game against Cameroon.

It was Comoros who got the first sniff on target.
Onana nearly fumbled a shot from Ben Djaloud at the fourth minute of play.
