Morocco’s national under-17 team has secured a place in the semi-finals of the CAF after defeating their Algerian counterparts 3-0 in the quarter-finals on Wednesday in Constantine, Algeria. The win also guarantees Morocco a spot in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Morocco had a strong showing in the group stage, finishing at the top of Group B with two consecutive victories against Nigeria (1-0) and South Africa (2-0), and only suffering one loss to Zambia.
