Al Ahly Tripoli Terminate Jacque Zoua’s Contract

Jacque Zoua is once more a free agent after Al Ahly Tripoli most recently terminated his contract according sources in Libya

Jacque Zoua joined the Libyan juggernauts on October 14, 2021, after close to a year as a free agent, since he left FC Vitorul in the 2019/20 season.

Only 6 months at the club with limited starts and goals for the Libyan side, both parties have resolved to part ways in mutual terms.

Al Ahly Tripoli are third in group of the ongoing Libyan Premier League and have a foothold in the CAF Confederation Cup, where they are second in group A with 3 points.

It is now tough to see where Zoua, a gold medalist at the 2017 AFCON will go from here after what has been a disturbing last two years or so.

The latter is now a journey man after having played for over 10 clubs in his 14 year career filled with ups and downs.

Jacques Zoua played for the Cameroon men’s senior national team 26 times from 2011 to 2019 but did not manage a goal in Cameroon uniform.

The 1.89 meter most recently represented Cameroon at the CHAN 2020, and was part of the team that ended fourth.
