Alex Nandje Scores On Fovu’s 1-0 Win Over YOSA

Alex Nandje’s 49th minute sculpture won maximum points for Fovu against the YOSA lads on match day 6 of the MTN Elite One in group B.

Chances were at a premium for Fovu, but they could only score one goal – which explains the inclusion of goalkeeper Ekoi Manfred in the team of the match day.

It was a much needed victory for Fovu as they were without victory in their last three, due to defeats to Bamboutos, Gazelle and a draw against Union.

With their day 6 win, Fovu moved to mid-table 5th with 8 points. Fovu will face sister club Les Astres on match day 7, while YOSA move up north to try and tackle Gazelle FA.

YOSA are placed 9th on the log and must avoid defer in Garoua to avoid going further down in the table.
