Andre Bikey appointed Zamalek assistant manager

Former Cameroonian international André Bikey Amougou is now José Gomes’ deputy in the dugout of continental juggernauts, Zamalek.

The Egyptian elite team formalized the arrival of former Cameroonian defender André Stéphane Bikey Amougou.

Bikey joins the Egyptian team as assistant coach. He will assist José Gomes who was his mentor in several clubs such as Almeria in Spain and Al Taawoun in Saudi Arabia.

At 39, the former Burnley player continues his reconversion as a coach.

André Bikey, born on January 8, 1985 in Douala, is a former international footballer who played as a central defender.

He was a finalist in the 2008 African Cup of Nations with Cameroon and played 8 matches in the UEFA Cup with MFK Lokomotiv between 2005-2006.
