André Onana Registers Four Saves as Trabzonspor Strengthen Süper Lig Position

Cameroon international goalkeeper André Onana delivered another solid performance in Trabzonspor’s 2-0 victory over Eyüpspor, making four decisive saves to secure a clean sheet and help his side maintain momentum in the Turkish Süper Lig.
Onana joined Trabzonspor on a season-long loan from Manchester United in September 2025. Since his arrival, he has featured in five matches, quickly establishing himself as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper.
Under his watch, Trabzonspor have taken 11 points from six league fixtures winning three, drawing two, and losing one showing marked defensive improvement.
With his save tally climbing and the defence behind him increasingly organised, Trabzonspor are not only collecting points but doing so with growing confidence.
With the league campaign still in its early stages, the 29-year-old Cameroonian’s sharp reflexes and consistency between the posts may prove decisive as the push for silverware intensifies.
The team currently sit fifth in the Süper Lig standings, remaining firmly in contention near the top of the table.
