Apam & Bayokolak Score Again, But Beken’s Brace Helps Fovu To 3 Points

It was goals galore at the Olembe Annex stadium on Saturday, Dec. 24, but Fovu outscored Apejes courtesy a 4-2 margin, from 1 down.

Former PWD of Bamenda center forward, Mohamed Aboubakar scored his first goal of the season for Fovu in the process.

Apejes opened the scores through Apam Bemol who scored for the second time in a row at the 3rd minute.

Apam’s goal was cancelled out 3 minutes after, by Palis Dzomene. It was level at the break but upon return from the locker room, Fack Bayokolak scored Apejes’ second in a déjà vu situation; the two goalscorers scored in the previous match day for Apejes, in their win against Gazelle.

Fovu were not just hanging about and they replied brilliantly. Franck Beken scored a brace (58, 69 minutes) while Aboubakar Mohammed’s goal in added on time (90+3) made sure of all the points for Fovu Club.

Fovu are up to 11 points in group B, 5th on the log, while Apejes keep parading the corridors of relegation with 8 points from 10 games.
