Apam Nets From The Spot Again As Apejes Inflict Second Home Defeat On Gazelle

Apejes Football Club inflicted on Gazelle FA its second home defeat and third defeat overall this season, with a 2-1 victory in Garoua.

Apejes were in the wilderness for so long, as they found victories few and far between before the World Cup break.

Apam Bemol scored his second goal from the penalty spot this season as early as the 5th minute of the game.

After the pose, Fack Bayokolak doubled for the center outfit at the hour mark. Gazelle replied brilliantly, as they halved deficit through Joel Djondang just two minutes after Fack’s goal.

Gazelle pushed harder but it wasn’t meant to be. Apejes, just like USD on match day 3 in Garoua, managed to put down the dark horses.

Apejes moves to 9th position with 8 points, while, there’s no ‘house on fire’ for Gazelle who are still placed third with 11 points after 8 matches in group B.
