Arnold Eba strikes as Fauve Azur hold Avion to 1-1 draw

Fauve Azur Elite came from behind to tie Avion Academy on game day 9 of the MTN Elite One encounter on Saturday, at the Stade de Bonamoussadi on Nov. 26.

Avion Academy looked set to move higher up the table and increase its points tally when they took an early lead.

It was erstwhile Bamboutos forward, Alain Nandjou who stroke at the 20th minute to gift the home side the lead. The goal was Nandjou’s third so far this campaign.

Staring at the dismal record of two straight defeats, Fauve Azur had to dig deep to make a comeback.

Two minutes after the halftime interval, Arnold Eba drew the scoreline for the yaounde outfit, and it went on to end 1-1.

Avion Academy are winless in their last 5 since that famous win against Yong Sports Academy on game day 3.

Fauve Azur are placed 8th with 6 points in group B, while Avion Academy are 5th with 8 points.
