A modified list of the indomitable Lions’ backroom staff has emerged this Tuesday October 1, after embarrassing scenes from Cameroon’s last 4 games.
A joint release was signed by minister of sports and physical education, Professor Narcisse Mouelle Kombi and FECAFOOT president, Samuel Eto’o, marking the end of a turbulent period.
Erstwhile Junior Lions and South Sudan coach, Ashu Besong has earned a different role in the tweaked list.
From his initial role as assistant number 2, Ashu Besong has now been appointed analyst supervisor alongside 1990 World Cup hero, Francois Omam Biyik.
Didier Benjamin Banlock relinquishes his position as General coordinator in place of former indomitable Lions full back, Timothée Atouba.
Idriss Carlos Kameni and two-time AFCON winner Alioum Boukar will both work as goalkeeper trainers.
Pagou David and Martin Ndtoungou Mpile officially make the cut as assistants to Marc Brys, displacing Ashu Besong and Omam Biyik.
