Axel Ndzana Starts Next Season As A ‘Brazilian’

Last season’s Union skipper, Axel Ndzana, has penned a one year deal with Astres FC, nicknamed the Brazilians of Bepanda.

Axel Ndzana will join coach Anicet Mbarga Foe, and the move on its own assures him of another journey in the top flight.

Ndzana switches to the yellow and green half of Douala after having been relegated with his Union Sportif Douala teammates last term.

The erstwhile Canon of Yaounde and Apejes Academy defender played every minute of Union’s Cameroon cup semi – finals run last term, forming a solid partnership with now – Cotonsport defender, Che Malone.

Astres eagerly await the yet to be programmed Cameroon Cup final against PWD of Bamenda, to officially close her season.

Last term where Union got relegated to the lower – tier after 63 years, Ndzana had a hand in four goals; two goals and two assists.
