Bakambu joins Real Betis
Galatasaray SK have announced that Cédric Bakambu has signed with Real Betis.
Real Betis will reportedly pay our club a guaranteed fee of 5 million euros plus future bonus of 5.05 million euros based on certain conditions.
Bakambu, 32, was trained in Sochauxhe but went to Türkiye in 2014 to play in the Bursaspora year before landing in the Villarreal, where he offered his best version. He was transferred to the Chinese league for 40 million euros and after several years, he returned to Europe to play in Olympique de Marseille.
Last year he shared a locker room with Sokratis in Olympiacos where had a good campaign, to the point of attracting the attention of several teams in the Saudi league.
He signed for one of the powerhiuses (Al-Nasr) but after a few days, due to his lack of acclimatization, he decided to break his bond and join the Galatasaray, where he barely had any prominence.
Betis trust that at the orders of Pellegrini which has approved his hiring, can get the striker back to his best level and compete for a place in the eleven with players like Willian Jose, Assane and Ayoze Perez.
