BAL: Al Ahli Tripoli clinch ticket to BAL playoffs, MBB stuns APR in Kigali.

Al Ahli Tripoli, first team to qualify for BAL Playoff from the Nile Conference. The Libyan side beat Nairobi City Thunder 104-91 on match day 4 in Kigali. A perfect run: 4 wins from 4 games, ensures smooth sail to Playoffs in Pretoria South Africa.

Coach Fouad Abou Chacra praised his team for their collective efforts: Mohamed Sadi with standout game: 23pts, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Teammate Caleb Agada equally delivers with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Al Ahli’s Jean Jacques Boissy with another massive performance.

The Senegalese point guard, top scorer for the 4th game in a row with 26 points against Nairobi CT. He is also the first player to make 23 three-pointers at conference level.

The previous record, held by Rolly Fula Nganga of Bangui Sporting Club with 22 three-pointers in 2024.

In game two on day 4, Made By Basketball of South beat host APR BBC 94-88 to record second BAL win.

Jovan Mooring drops massive 29pts for MBB in his reference game at the Nile Conference. He equally records 8 rebounds and 5 assists.

MBB can confirm good run with victory against Nairobi City Thunder on Saturday May 24, 2025. On same day, APR BBC will face Al Ahli Tripoli in 2nd game.
