Belobo At Brace As YAFOOT Defeat YOSA From One Down

YOSA took the lead from the penalty spot in the first stanza against YAFOOT but Belobo’s brace, led YAFOOT to an important victory.

On the back of a 2-0 win against group B surprise package – Fauve Azur, Yong Sports Academy couldn’t follow up with another win.

It was the men of Anumewa Franklin who took the lead from the penalty spot. Erstwhile U20 midfeild metronome – Nchindo John Bosco was fouled in the area.

The youngster took the resulting spot kick and converted as early as the 11th minute of the game. It was Nchindo’s first goal of the season, and the lad showed he still has his swagger from the penalty spot.

YAFOOT didn’t waste time and rallied to equalize through their most likely source this campaign.

Creative midfeilder Steve Belobo scored his first of two goals at the 22nd minute, just after YOSA’s teenage enigma, Ekoi Manfred – had saved a penalty before the goal.

At one-all, YAFOOT looked the more enterprising and they got their reward at the 36th minute through Steve Belobo.
