Benoît Ze Takes Charge Of FECATENIS

There is a new breath of fresh air in the tennis discipline in the national territory after a history general assembly on Friday.

Benoit Ze was elected FECATENIS president after he obtained 42 votes from 42 voters (out of 60) that were present at the Assembly.

There has been a queue of general assemblies from different disciplines and tennis wasn’t going to be left out.

It was a landslide vote for the former tennis player who got elected during the Elective General Assembly of Fécatennis, held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at the Hotel la Falaise in Yaoundé.

His only competitor, Herman Hakapoka, obtained 0 votes, despite his ‘no show’. This enthusiast of the little yellow ball since his early childhood as a player, now turned administrator and patron, wants to revolutionize tennis in Cameroon.

For a discipline that has little or no interests from kids in the national triangle, Ze has as an obligation to promote the game and ensure that it becomes as big as other disciplines.
