Because Morocco is geographically close to Europe, Forbin felt a personal responsibility to champion the promotion of the event, leading his team to launch a promotional road trip that spanned the distance from the United Kingdom all the way to Marrakech, a journey that normally lasts 3 days.
The decision to drive rather than fly was a strategic move designed to challenge traditional perceptions of travel. Forbin noted that the journey served as a practical demonstration of accessibility, successfully opening people’s eyes to the fact that they can carpool and navigate the route by land to reach the matches. By hitting the road, the company aimed to showcase the spirit of adventure and the collective bond that the tournament inspires.
